Run decisions

When chance appears, name what your run actually needs.

Lootbound features dice rooms with risk and reward, and Guardian parts obtained at the end of a biome can alter the final boss. That is enough to make a useful decision framework without inventing event tables.

Before a dice-room choice

Take a short run-state check. Are you stable and looking for upside? Are you behind and accepting variance? Or are you one bad outcome away from losing a run that is already working?

  • Stable run: evaluate whether the potential reward unlocks a real next step.
  • Fragile run: prefer information and survival unless you truly need a swing.
  • Unclear run: use the game’s current description, not a generic “always roll” rule.

Guardian parts

The public game description says Guardian parts are earned at a biome’s end and change the final boss. Treat the choice as part of run planning: notice what the part changes, then reconsider the rest of your route and inventory with that information in mind.

Why there is no event tier list here

There is no public source in this first research pass that supports an exhaustive event database or universally optimal choices. Adding one would turn a guide into fiction, so this page stays with confirmed mechanics and a transparent decision method.
